There has always been something about books that has felt like home to me.
I'm a published book author myself, so I understand firsthand both the magic and the hard work that go into creating one. For me it has never been just about the stories inside them, but the experience of them. The weight of a hardcover in your hands. The sound of turning a page. The scent of paper and ink. Walking into a library and feeling an immediate sense of peace. In a world that has become increasingly digital, books remain beautifully human. They invite us to slow down, to think, to imagine, and to leave something behind that will outlive us.
I've always been drawn to creators, people who have something inside them that simply has to exist in the world. Writers, artists, dreamers, and visionaries all share that same spark. They don't just consume ideas; they create them. Helping bring those ideas to life is one of the greatest privileges I know.
Many first-time authors have an incredible message but aren't sure how to transform it into a book that flows naturally from beginning to end. That's where I love to help. I enjoy shaping the structure, refining the reader's journey, and making sure every chapter feels intentional, considered, and engaging.
At the same time, I genuinely enjoy the technical side of publishing. Self-publishing involves much more than writing a manuscript. ISBNs, trim sizes, typography, formatting, distribution, printing, metadata, file preparation, marketing, and launch strategy can quickly become overwhelming. I enjoy taking those complex pieces and making them understandable, so authors can focus on what they do best: creating.
Over the years, I've found myself collecting books almost instinctively. Stacks of them. Books I'll read immediately, books I'll save for later, and books I simply want nearby. I think that's because books represent possibility. Every one of them began as a single idea in someone's mind before becoming something another person could hold in their hands.
That's why I created Truest Publishing Co.
I wanted to build more than a publishing consultancy. I wanted to create a place where authors feel supported from the moment an idea is born until the day they hold their finished book. Along the way, I connect them with trusted illustrators, talented professionals, fellow authors, and a community of people who believe stories still matter.
My role is to bridge the gap between inspiration and publication, combining creativity, strategy, technical expertise, and marketing into one guided experience. Because I believe every meaningful story deserves the opportunity to become something real.
